This photo was taken in the rose garden on 30.5.2006.
This Chusan palm was planted in 2000 in a sheltered spot and it started to flower in 2006. This year, 2008, it has two flower heads. It is winter hard and needs no protection, unless there is freezing snow, which can bend the leaves. It has no reached the height of the first floor of our house.
