Tetrapanax papyrifera "Steroidal Giant"

Photo taken on 15.08.2007 in the tropical border. This plant is well named as the leaves are enormous. As the leaves were so large, John decided to move it last year to give it more room, and it died on us. However, not to worry, coming up all around from the old roots are lots of young new plants, which John has potted up, for ourselves and maybe to sell. But beware, it is big and it grows up from the spreading roots.
