Photo taken on 31.08.2005 in the Millennium garden. Cautelya is a member of the zinzigeraceae family (gingers). It is an herbaceous perennial, which can tolerate a touch of frost, but which must be grown in a freely draining, sheltered position. It is native to the Himalyas.
