Arisaema nepenthoides

Photo taken on 1.9.2005 near the pond. Arisaema nepenthoides is the tallest of the "Jack-in-the-pulpits". The stem is striped and speckled like a snake skill. It is also called the Himalyan Cobra Lily. They prefer moist but fast draining soil. If flowers in spring and the red berries are formed in late summer.
