Photo taken on 10.10.2005 near the pond. These long lasting berries stay on the bush until well into the winter, as do the leaves. The leaves also turn orange- red through the winter, making it a good shrub for a winter garden. It was discovered in China by Armand David, a French missionary, who worked in China from 1862 to 1873.
